Velvet Thistle

Playing Celtic traditional music with other musicians is a great joy. However going along to a traditional folk session can be scary. I didn’t want this to prevent anyone sharing in this joyous experience so I have set up a small group to give anyone of whatever experience level a comfortable, supportive and sociable place to enjoy playing great tunes with others. Where they can also develop their skills so that they feel ready to go along to a folk session and dive in.

It’s called Velvet Thistle and it meets on Sundays 1400-1530 at Aberfeldy Bowling Club (www.aberfeldybowlingclub.co.uk). But NOT every Sunday so please check it’s on before coming along.

Fee : £9 per session.
